This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Picture this: thirty 6th graders all attempting to work on their individualized reading platforms... but they cannot hear a thing since everyone is attempting to hear their own computer! Or having to lift the Chromebook to their ear to try to hear a video for class. This is my kid's current problem. My students are in desperate need of a set of headphones!

With headphones, distractions will fade away, allowing students to dive into their studies.

They can adjust the volume just right, finding that sweet spot where they can hear every word without disturbing their peers. Headphones are beneficial in my English class for reading programs, videos, and test preparation. Plus, they give kids a sense of ownership over their learning journey. It's not just about what's being taught; it's about how they're learning it. With headphones my 6th graders will be empowered to explore, engage, and truly make the most of their classroom experience.
