This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The specific items that I am requesting will be used to motivate and encourage my students to work on their reading comprehension skills. By putting those skills to work in the form of a game, they will be more engaged. My goals for this project is to form a board games section in my classroom where after small group instruction has occurred; the students will be rewarded with playing an educational board game. I am hoping my students will be excited to come into my classroom and that I will be able to build a good rapport with them through playing these educational board games. Every student is special and each come with their own strengths and weaknesses. It is so great to watch them grow!
