My Students
My students are eager to learn, but unfortunately, they do not have the full support to be able to thrive. They go through dramatic events both at home and school but they are special in their own way. My students are in an urban, city neighborhood. The school is a tier-one school with a lot of the students having issues with their academics.
My Project
The materials in this project will help with keeping my students hydrated. When I gave them a long English test, they were able to take a snack/drink break. The only problem with that was they had to leave the classroom. With this project, I can have everything in the classroom and they don't have to leave. This project also matches with my other project about having snacks in the classroom for treats and rewards. The project helps with keeping my students hydrated because of how their last couple of school years have gone, they are doing a lot of assessments so the drinks will come in handy as a distraction from all the tests they are taking.
