This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These TIME for Kids magazines will enhance the print-rich classroom that I'm striving to establish. My classroom library is a place that my students enjoy spending their free-time discovering books. I want to expand their reading choices by including TIME for Kids magazines. These magazines will engage my students in reading national news articles, Cartoon of Time for Kids, and topics about animals, health, sports, and much more.
TIME for Kids will provide my students with interesting and exciting articles that will improve their reading ability.
With these new magazines, my students will be able to read monthly articles at their own grade level. They will also learn more about the world around them. My students already have shown an amazing interest in reading with a partner or independently. TIME for Kids magazines will help enrich their reading experiences.
