My Project
When my students finish their work early I ask them to take a book from my shelf and begin reading. My predicament is that most of the books on my shelf are my old books from college courses. Most 8th graders aren't interested in reading Siddhartha or an anthology of poetry from the British Romantic era. You can help me fix this by donating what you can so I can buy more books for the shelf that represent a diversity of topics, languages, and reading levels. Thanks for your help!
