Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Rain, rain, go away, we want to go outside and play. We often get many rainy days or days where we have to stay inside for lunch or recess. When we are inside, the students are often bored and want something to do or play with. I am in need of new games and toys for rainy day recess and lunch.

I would like to get more Legos, Lincoln Logs, magnetic blocks, matchbox cards with a track, and some card or board games for my students to use when they can not go outside to play.

My students love to build and create things. They also like to be social with each other and play games or work together. As a fifth-grade teacher, I do not have many blocks, games, or cards for them to use during their fun time at recess, lunch, or other free time. Technology is so present in the students' lives. I want to offer my students something fun they can do to work together and be social instead of on a device. If you are able to help provide these materials to my students, we would greatly appreciate it. Thank you in advance for your support.
