Help me give my students a shopping bread basket, play phone, guide dog, puppet tree, play purses and kid-safe appliances for our dramatic play center.
My preschoolers love using the dramatic play center in our classroom. They love to dress up and pretend to be a baker, a parent, a teacher or anything their heart desires. This type of creativity play is so important for my three-year-olds. It supports their social-emotional, language, and cognitive development.
These dramatic play items will let my children explore their world in a fun, engaging way.
The bread basket can let them open a bakery that they can make and sale baked goods. They can use the play phone to take orders for their bakery. They may even offer coffee, smoothies and mix up some new goodies using the kids-safe appliances. If some of the children decide they want to be a customer of the bakery, they can shop with their play purses.
The guide-dog with harness and cane will expose my children to people with disabilities. The puppet tree will help us organize and display our class puppets in the dramatic play center.
