My Project

In our classroom, the last piece of our instrument collection puzzle are bass bars. These help strengthen the sound of an "Orff" arrangement, and also give the students the ability to widen their sound exploration. My students love to play instruments, and in the last 12 years, I have slowly grown my instrument collection and allow them the opportunities to play the assortment of sounds.

Bass bars are so much fun to play!

They create this deep low tone that really brings out the best in the piece we are performing! This project would just really help us get the instruments we need to perform a variety of music.
