My Project

Working as a counselor at a middle school poses challenges that most are not aware. The goal of this project is to have a variety of tools for students to use in times of high anxiety, turmoil or stress. Middle school students are special as they are not quite the adults they are striving to be and still need (and want) nurturing, love and support. By having tools available for student use while in these tense mental states, we are able to build positive relationships to maximize the support of their social emotional well being and success in school.
