My Students

I have the best students! Our students are comprised of various learning levels, (SpEd) so we do our best to adapt our teaching methods to their learning abilities!

Our Classroom supplies are furnished by the teacher!

As a teacher in a low-income/high poverty school district, my students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. Many of my students receive backpack food on the weekend. Our school also provides breakfast to 100% of our students.

My Project

Money is such a hard concept to learn that I hope to start my kiddos out early! We need a carpet so we have a place to sit and brainstorm on our Money Concepts.

I hope to start them out with a bang on learning about Financial Literacy.

With the items I've applied for and a little elbow grease, I hope to get my kiddos fluent in recognizing money and then how to use it. The books and the "money" items are helpful tools because it gives them a visual and hands on items to work with

I want them to learn that you work hard to earn money and you need to learn exactly what things cost!
