This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My school is considered a Title 1 school due to the surrounding community being economically disadvantaged. I love that despite challenges, my students persist. My students are smart, creative, kind, and brave. I take great pleasure in serving my students and preparing them for their next chapter in life.
This school year our classroom carpets have been removed and demolished leaving us with a concrete floor.
This removal takes from the warm inviting classroom I was hoping to create this year.
This would be the most impactful donation. Please help me provide students with a comfortable, welcoming, carpet that they can come down to for our morning meetings and math stations.
