Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This year I will be teaching Kindergarten for dual-language. Meaning my students will learn one day in English and the next day in Spanish. We utilize a classroom rug to sit during our large group lessons and morning meeting. The rug will allow for all 25 of my students to have their own spot (using each square). Not only will they have their own space but they won't be crowded one on top of the other. I love how my students are bilingual and will be learning how to read and write in both languages.
