Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students love expressing themselves through art. Finding ways for students to create 3-dimensional art in an authentic way which exposes them to art careers is always a win.
By donating to this project, you'll provide students with access to art forms they haven't used before.
Designing and producing glass sculpture and jewelry will extend their knowledege of one of the oldest art forms. Glass fusing is cross curricular and project-based, encompassing art, history, and science. Students engaged in fine arts are more likely to remain in school through high school!
More than half of students from low‑income households
