My Project

My students are creative, fun, outgoing, and love to learn. They enjoy reading and learning new things each and every day.

I have an amazing and creative group of first graders.

Students come to school each day eager to try and learn new things. I teach at a Title I school with a high poverty index. A lot of our students do not have the best home lives, so our school is their security and they count on us every day.

Having the supplies at their fingertips will help make the projects, small groups, and interactive notebooks a lot easier for the students, and they do not have to worry about supplying the materials and I do not have to worry about buying the materials. The document camera will help during whole group learning so I am able to project the work on the board so everyone in the classroom is able to see and can follow along. The magnetic letters will help build words during small groups and help with blending. The students can also use them along with the bingo wands with chips, erasers, and dry erase pouches in their stations to practice building and reading words.

These supplies will help my students tremendously. With your donation to my project you will help my students stay focused on the tasks instead of being stressed or frustrated because they do not have the supplies.
