My Project

Students learn through books and art. I want to provide my students with tools to share kindness in our school.

I want to provide a means for them to express themselves through art and share with others that "kindness is cool"!

Through books, my students can read about kindness and how we can share it. Through art, I want my students to have access to a variety of art materials and activities to participate in sharing what kindness is about. My students will be able to enhance verbal skills and individual expression as we read kindness books together and participate in thoughtful discussions. My students will create a Kindness Rock Garden in front of our class using rocks, paint, pens, and sparkles. We will "plant" our special rock garden in front of our class to spread kindness to other students in the school as they walk past our special garden. My students are amazing, and this project will enrich their social and emotional well-being!
