It's Always the Small Pieces That Make the Big Picture
Help me give my students puzzles in every center in our classroom.
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Burke's classroom raised $177

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am requesting puzzles in every center in our classroom. The puzzles in this project will help my students learn the concept of a 'whole' and that each piece is a fraction of the bigger picture. Puzzle making will help students with shape recognition, concentration, goal setting, patience and a sense of achievement.
Jigsaw puzzles help students develop finger strength, perseverance and problem-solving skills.
The floor puzzles will allow students to work together. The color puzzle will help students recognize the names of colors. The alphabet puzzles will develop letter recognition and match upper and lower case letters. The counting puzzles will allow students to count from 1 to 8. Finally, the Pete the Cat game will teach students how to match similar pictures.
These puzzles will allow my class to have a variety of puzzles and give students more of a choices in our puzzle center.
