This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are always looking for a writing instrument, having all essentials in one area will keep my students organized. I have a wonderful group of very hard-working students. Please help me eliminate the main source of worry, concern, and time wasted in class. Having pencil cases filled with pens, pencils, index cards and highlighters will allow my students to complete their assignments in a timely manner.

It may not seem like much but having these essentials in one stop, can help my classroom run a lot smoother.

My students are in desperate need of basic supplies. My students new home is from Union City, New Jersey, which is an urban district that believes all children can learn. My students are among the smartest in the country. We are located in a low-income community. My students qualify for free breakfast and free and reduced lunch, and are highly motivated to learn, but they do not have all opportunities available to them that children in more affluent areas have.
