Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My class of 25 transitional kindergarten / kindergarten students live in the heart of Los Angeles! We are located in a small community in the north east area where everyone is like family. We have a little more than 300 students on campus and enjoy working in our green spaces. My class believes in teamwork and community building. We call ourselves, "The Mighty little Eagles" because we work together and never give up on our goals.
Our class is always ready to work hard and become life long learners.
We take on any challenge that comes our way and we would love to have you become part of our team by helping us have a wonderful experience this school year!
My Project
I never dreamed I would be teaching Kindergarten remotely. We as educators have had to reinvent how we teach in every way. I have spent hours figuring out how to present content that is kid-friendly, creative and engaging.
I know teachers pay teachers can support my students and I during remote learning in so many ways.
I can not wait to begin downloading different presentation slides, student handouts and more. They will provide my students and I resources for all subject areas and the best part of this is that I will be giving back to my fellow educators at the same time.
