My Project
Many of the students in my classroom come from families that cannot supply books at home for their children to enjoy. As I was going to school to become a teacher, I always envisioned my classroom with a classroom library that was cozy, welcoming, and overflowing with books that would cultivate a lifelong love of reading for my students. My goals for this project are to supply books to my students that not only foster the love of reading but encourage inclusion for all, kindness and caring through social emotional reading, while also developing my student's phonemic awareness and phonics skills at the same time!
