My Project
My students are energetic, curious, and always ready to move! They are kindergarten and first-grade learners in a self-contained special education classroom, and they benefit from hands-on, sensory, and gross motor activities to help them focus, regulate their emotions, and build physical coordination.
To support their needs, I’m requesting a Lakeshore Balance Bike, a heavy-duty indoor scooter board, and an outdoor storage shed.
The balance bike and scooter board will help students work on core strength, balance, and coordination during indoor and outdoor motor breaks. These tools are especially helpful for students who need sensory input or have difficulty sitting still for long periods.
The outdoor storage shed will give us a safe place to keep these materials organized and protected, allowing us to use them throughout the school year without damage or clutter.
These resources will help my students move their bodies, strengthen their skills, and stay engaged in learning. Thank you for supporting our classroom community!
