This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I have a dream! I have a dream that one day children, rich and poor, will come together to share in a meaningful educational opportunity through the use of technology in the classroom.
No Money! Budget Cuts! Technology in the Classroom!... Technology enhances the learning of my students. With so many diverse educational needs, my students share one commonality - their desire to learn. As an educator, it is my responsibility to effectively teach my students to move them towards their goals and aspirations.
Technology is the element that will help me get them there. Technology in the classroom will enable me to devise new methods and practices to best reach my students' levels of need. This element will go beyond just using the textbook in the classroom. I can bring reading, writing, and ancient civilizations to life for my students. It is what they need and what they deserve.
This technological element that will help me reach my student is the document projector that will allow me to visually stimulate my students in their learning. I can model writing techniques. I can show my students more graphics and objects to paint a picture of how people lived in ancient times. I can provide students the opportunity to present their work to their peers. I can do all this and much more with this resource.
Your help will greatly impact and provide a positive learning experience for my students. You will help empower them as they take ownership in their education as they realize that they can learn despite their educational needs. Help me to better serve the needs of my students.
