This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My classroom is full of eager learners. A typical day in our class is a mixture of lots of learning and a ton of fun. I've been blessed with students who love school, especially math! My goal is to grow my students' love for math by helping them to get a deeper understanding of the subject.

I have 11 in person fifth graders that range in age from ten to eleven.

My students come from various cultural and economic backgrounds. Our school is in a high poverty, urban area in NYC, in which many families are faced with a low income.

Our school atmosphere is absolutely amazing. Students, teachers and other faculty and staff operate as one big family. The students are eager to learn and impress their parents, teachers, principal and community. They go above and beyond each day to make us all proud.

My Project
