This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are full of energy, creativity, and big ideas. They come to school each day ready to learn and grow, but many of them lack the basic supplies that help them take ownership of their learning. That’s where this project comes in!

I'm asking for journals, fun erasers, and Expo markers—simple tools that make a big difference in my classroom.

These supplies aren't just materials; they are confidence boosters and motivation igniters.

Journals: Writing daily helps students build literacy skills, reflect on their thoughts, and develop their voice. Having their own personal journal gives them a sense of pride and ownership in their work.

Fun Erasers: Believe it or not, a playful eraser can turn a mistake into a learning opportunity. These small items encourage a growth mindset and make writing and correcting work feel less intimidating and more enjoyable.

Expo Markers: We use whiteboards daily for practicing spelling and group collaboration. Fresh, vibrant markers help make lessons interactive, fun, and visible for all learners.
