Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

For these materials, I envision my class of learners engaged with a group to create an ecosystem that reflects the habitat of the group of animals they choose at random.

Students will create the living and nonliving parts of the ecosystem, demonstrate how the animals use the parts of their habitat for food and shelter, and show the flow of energy that connects the animals in their appropriate food web.

These life-like materials will allow my students to see the structural adaptations that help animals survive in their environment.

The diverse amount of materials will allow students to educate their peers about their selected biome while learning about all of the other biomes other classmates have chosen.
