This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Rebuilding my classroom library.
After being out of the classroom for several years, I realized that I need to build my classroom library.
I would like to provide students with high interest books at different reading levels. This would ensure that all students have the opportunity to read books at their level and build their interest in Reading.
Libraries open students' imagination. Classroom libraries provide a collection of reading materials at different reading levels. Having books readily available in the classroom supports independent reading, personal exploration and reading a variety of texts, students’ vocabulary increases.
