My Project

My class is made up of students with autism. During the school year we like to provide different opportunities for the students to learn new skills that can help them with future employment.

We would love to start a dog treat business!

The materials provided in this project will give us the opportunity to open our own microenterprise selling dog treats to the staff at our high school as well as to local businesses as well.

Being able to learn new skills, measuring, baking, pricing, selling, and advertising, will help my students when they leave public school and start looking for employment. These skills will transfer to many different job opportunities in our community.
