This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our classroom is in need of some basic items. We need basic items to ensure students are comfortable in the classroom. The students' basic needs must be met in order for learning to happen. Students often come to school without having breakfast, or they get hungry later in the day due to an early lunch. We often run low on snacks and tissues, so I added these items to help meet their basic needs.
These materials are essential for the classroom.
We want to ensure students have a welcoming environment. Therefore I have added boarders to help bring color into the classroom and the file folders will help organize student work. When students walk into the room, they need a warm and welcoming classroom. They need to make sure there are items like tissues, snacks, and so much more readily available for them.
