Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Recently, we have seen a rise in our homeless population in our high school. Girls are specifically increasing in numbers during this holiday season. To better help these students, we have a clothes closet that has everything from jackets to toiletries to sneakers. Our clothes closet is run by our Key Club and our SAP Team (Student Assistance Program).
With the increase in homelessness, our supplies have dwindled.
The supplies that our girls have specifically requested are hair products for textured hair, leggings, and sweatpants. We need your help to better care for our students during these hard times. We appreciate any donation you are able to make. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
