Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am the proud teacher of a wonderful group of Pre-Kindergarten. My students come to school every day ready to learn and excited. Despite so many hardships, my students are eager to learn and do their best. They are a diverse group, making our multicultural classroom family a pleasure to teach. My school is a Title I where 98% of the student population receives free lunch and most of them are English Language Learners. This year I decided to bring all the positive energy that I can find in my class because they deserve that and more.
My Project
During this unpredictable time we have to adapt how we deliver instructional content and we have to modify our instructional strategies, so we can reach each child potential.
With an iPad, English Language Learners will improve their language skills, practice oral language, and meet their individual skills, interests, levels, and learning styles.
There’s a wide variety of learning materials available for iPad that can engage English Language Learners and help them learn in new and exciting ways. In addition, as an educator, I will be able to personalize lessons no matter where students are on their language development journey.
