My Students
My junior high school is a diverse Title I school. Here you will find some of the kindest and most thoughtful teens you could ever meet. These students try their best and have unbelievable abilities and talents.
When given the right tools MOJHS Students will show you how they can light up the world with creativity and beauty.
These incredible students have overcome challenges and struggles, and still show up each day excited to learn and eager to help other students. With help from the community, I know that these kids will become great leaders and inspire many people throughout their lives.
My Project
This project will greatly improve my ability to teach and stay organized, as well as give my students nicer materials to start the year off right! The sketchbooks provide my students the opportunity to feel like official artists and allow them to create art outside of the classroom. As a second year teacher, Teachers Pay Teachers is a great way to obtain art handouts and resources that can regularly be used in class. The paint will be used for one of the most memorable projects of the year and may even allow my advanced students to take their mural design skills to a whole new level.
Nice materials in an art room can greatly improve an art class!
With these supplies, I intend to help my students feel even more excited than they may already be to start this new school year.
