My Project

I teach an amazing group of kindergarten students. They are unique individuals, with big personalities. My job is to help them grow socially, academically, and into becoming thoughtful, kind humans.

Many of my students are quiet and well-behaved.

I noticed that some of them were getting overlooked, as other students needed more support with behavior and academics. I implemented a PBIS system with a 10 frame card for each student. Every student that has a 'great day' gets a sticker on his or her ten frame. When the ten frame is full, they get to pick from the treasure box! Our treasure box is running low, due to some very great days. We need spring launchers, light up rings, Play-Doh, and pop tube critters to provide replacements for some already popular items and some new options in our treasure box. Please help me incentivize all students who make great choices both academically and socially. Thank you!
