My Project
Our class serves students with various severe/profound disabilities. Because of this, these students require modification, adaptation, and lots of extra creativity. Some of our students are autistic, while others have communication deficits and may even be nonverbal. Students like this require sensory tools to help navigate learning and succeed in and out of the classroom. These beanbags, chewable bracelets, and other tools will assist students and provide much-needed sensory input in our classroom. All of our students are unique and they deserve opportunities to succeed like other non-disabled students. This project will help in providing our students with a creative successful learning environment that they need and deserve.
