it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
At my school, we have exceptionally talented and dedicated students who are willing to go the extra mile to have a dynamic and challenging music education. Our students may face very difficult situations at home and around them, but their willingness to persevere and their tenacity has set them apart.
Our music students have gone on to do great things in the community and in higher level music education.
We are honored to know that many of our scholars have received scholarships and high placement due to their work in music. We are very proud of their work and are excited to see what great things they will do this year. Music has done great things for our most at-risk youth. Let's help them continue their great work!
My Project
We have awesome music students who are capable of anything, but in order for them to play, they need the little things to keep everything going. Playing an electric guitar without a a guitar pick or a cable is impossible. Learning the Suzuki method on violin without the book is impossible. We need these supplies in order to play and practice.
The guitar picks and cables will allow our students to play and practice and the rosin and Suzuki books will allow our students to continue their studies on the violin.
It is the little things that keep us going. Without these supplies, using the resources we have worked hard to get will be impossible. Let's start the year off right.
