Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This is my first year as an educator. I have 21 amazing kindergarten students! Since I am a first year teacher, I do not have many activities to use during centers and small groups to help the students in their learning.
Based on the students I have some have no idea what letters are and some of the materials will be a great tangible, differentiated and engaging way for students to get more knowledge.
These hands on manipulatives, such as Alphabet Learning Locks, Letter Crayons Word Building Center, and Snap Build CVC Words will support my students reading, language, and math foundational skills. The manipulatives are also a good way for students with different learning needs to learn and become engaged.
