This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach a fabulous group of fourth graders who love learning! They come to school every day ready to take on the tasks of the day! I provide my students with may different learning opportunities and try to give them experiences with different learning tools. While working on an assignment on area and perimeter, my students wanted to compute measurements beyond the 12 times tables!

Calculators to the rescue!

I am requesting a classroom set of calculators to help my students with complex math problems and to add another resource to their learning toolkit! These calculators will be used by many students in the years to come. Thank you for your consideration!
