ISO: Our Books Need a Home!

Help me give my students a place to put their book bins and some new decor for our new classroom. We just recently moved into a new classroom and the new room doesn't have storage for their things!

My Students

As a teacher in a very diverse and low-income area, our school and classroom are faced with many challenges. Even though all of the challenges, we have an amazing community that helps support our school and our students.

My classroom is comprised of 29 energetic first graders who show up eager and ready to learn.

In our room, we are a family and we learn to work hard and work together. My love for teaching is contagious and it is my hope to spread that joy to my students. Being a new teacher, our classroom needs some materials in order to best support and meet the needs of all of my students.

My Project

We have just moved our first grade classroom into a new room mid school year. The students are so excited for this move because it is a bigger classroom for our 28 students this year. However, our new classroom doesn't have shelves for students to keep their book bins filled with books from our library!

This project, will allow students to keep their books in a safe place where they will have access to them throughout the entire school day!

There are also a few other small decoration items that we need for our new classroom! Thank you so much for the support!
