This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My Title I classroom is filled with students that are the brightest, most brilliant lights that are but a glimmer of the future. These kids love discovery learning in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM).
My students are innovative, tenacious, motivated, dedicated, and willing to work hard to develop revolutionary problem-solving skills for the 21st-century.
They do whatever they put their minds to. They are willing and able to change the future by finding new ways to build their community. Please be the one who helps this group of young people make those creative visions of ingenuity a reality.
My Project
With Covid-19 on the center stage teachers have had to change the way we teach and deliver lessons. Paper is no longer used in this classroom. Chromebooks are a necessity for every student. Most of my kids can use a computer, but the little touchpad, on the computer, is difficult for them to navigate with.
A mouse, for each student, would eliminate so many issues that we are having with navigating the chrome books.
As an English Language Learner, it is hard enough to learn how to navigate through all the new programs that are being used but to navigate without a mouse has made it more difficult for them. They are already struggling to keep up with their English speaking peers, then to add a glitchy touchpad to the mix has caused incredibly frustrating lessons.
Help my kids better able to navigate all the changes with an individual mouse for their computers.
