Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Part of this project will help students have their own set of supplies, such as glue and scissors which can be scarce. As a teacher, I like to do projects and different types of activities that can demonstrate mastery of certain subjects. I’ve seen students become great creators when they are allowed to put their finishing touches on their own work. This is where paper and crayons will also be helpful.
Pocket charts will be beneficial in displaying our schedule and vocabulary for the week.
Lastly, I like trying new methods to motivate students to be their best. Flash cards can help with repetition and punchcards can help students stay motivated.
In summary, all of the items will help students practice learning tasks, stay motivated, and clean. Thank you!
