Help me give my students a newer iPad!
Help our students stay active and motivated! A newer iPad will let us track laps and milestones in Marathon Kids, keeping engaged as they build healthy habits.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are full of energy, heart, and determination. Through the Marathon Kids program, they’re learning how to set goals, stay active, and support one another. What makes them special is their perseverance. No matter where they come from or what challenges they face, they show up ready to give their best. They encourage each other and take pride in every lap they run.
Right now, we’re recording laps with an older personal iPad that crashes a lot, which won’t record laps students ran when this occurs.
With a new iPad, we’ll be able to log laps instantly without any issues, set goals for each student, and celebrate milestones as they work toward running a full marathon. It will help students stay motivated and see how far they’ve come.
Our goal is to make fitness fun, consistent, and meaningful. With your support, our students will have the tools they need to stay on track, stay encouraged, and continue building healthy habits that can last a lifetime.
