IREAD Ready!

Help me give my students laptops to help them have the ability to practice typing for IREAD, a charging cart for their school iPads, and headphones for those who can not provide their own.

My Project

I have requested these specific items as third grade is a testing grade, and students are expected to be able to type their answers. This is very hard to do on their school iPads as the keyboards on half of them do not work. Having these laptops would be a game changer to allow them to practice a skill they must have to be successful in passing IREAD. My students leave their iPads here at school to charge as most of them do not have the ability to charge them at home, so having a charging cart would be helpful to get them off of our floor. The headphones would help those whose families were not able to provide them at the beginning of the school year. I have purchased a class set, but they were a couple of years old, and have started to break. This IREAD reading station would help prepare my students to be successful on their upcoming state test!
