My Students

As educators we should be able to use technology everyday to enhance our children's learning.

I am a public school teacher in Georgia.

My school currently serves over 540 students ranging from all types of backgrounds. We have English Language Learners, as well as a high percentage of military children. Our school has a high percentage of poverty level students due to the economic situation. I also currently teach inclusion classroom for my grade level.

My Project

Our school currently has a class set of iPods for use for all the teachers. I would like to start by trying to get iPods funded to use as a math and literacy centers. My kids love using these on a daily basis, however we have to share them among the other teachers and we can not use them everyday. I like to reinforce what we are learning through educational and learning apps.

This project is important because I love to see my students excited about their learning!

They show so much excitement when using the technology. It increases their motivation and love for learning. Your donation will reach all types of learners this school year and beyond.
