My students need 2 iPods to be able to use Facetime to do real live communication in Spanish. They would be able to see and hear other students across the country.

it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Do you remember sitting in a language class wishing you could speak and interact with real students across the world? Well many of my students would love to have the opportunity to practice and Speak Spanish across the country.
My students attend a Title 1 High School.
My classes are filled with all types of students ready to learn a foreign language. Some are students who are highly gifted, some have learning disabilities, and others are students at risk. Each day, I try to find a way to motivate my students to learn Spanish.
My Project
An iPod Touch would enhance my teaching in so many ways. I will be able to use FaceTime to communicate with other Spanish classrooms across the country. My students would also be introduced to real life situations and culture with the use of this technology. Students can also videotape different types of presentations, and then share them with other classrooms and parents at back to school night events. My students benefit from visual learning and hands-on communication which will be created with the use of the iPod touch. In addition, my students would be able to download different Spanish applications from the Apple store to enhance their Spanish vocabulary.
The impact of your donations will help my students get excited about their education, as well as learn to enjoy the Spanish language.
Moreover, students will be eager to share what they have learned via FaceTime.
