This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My new students this year are all very excited to learn and love to move and dance!
My Pre-K class is comprised of 36 students.
It is split into a morning class and an afternoon class. Our school is a Title I school, and most of my students live in a low income area and the majority of them live in non-English speaking households. They are all very eager to learn and at this age love school!
My Project
I am requesting an iPod Touch so that my students will be able to be exposed to a variety of music. My personal phone does not have enough memory to store the music, so we need the iPod to store all their favorite songs. Also, the iPod touch would be used as an educational tool with apps for the students.
This iPod Touch will enable students to have music played for them wherever they may be.
Used with a wireless speaker, they will be able to have music played for them anywhere in school. The iPod Touch would also help the students in math and reading with educational apps!
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
