My Students
I teach two half-day sessions of kindergarten, which means I will have a total of 44-52 students. I love teaching these eager and energetic kids! I'm excited to begin to introduce more S.T.E.M. and S.T.E.A.M. activities in my classroom. Every year I have students who speak other languages, come to school unprepared, and students who are right where they should be academically or even above grade level. It is a real challenge to make sure all the students are making progress and mastering all of the needed concepts.
Our school focuses on the mastery of literacy, mastery, and the arts.
My Project
My students will be more engaged using an IPEVO interactive whiteboard. This device plugs into my computer. I am creating digital lessons using Nearpod that will be enhanced by using the IPEVO with students. These lessons are teacher led but by using the IPEVO students will be able to interact with the content.
Any document or picture that I project will become interactive using the IPEVO by allowing them to write, draw on, and interact with the document!
This is exciting because the students' engagement level will increase! I have watched other teachers use this device and the students love it and benefit from these lessons.
