it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In our 7th-grade self-contained classroom, my inquisitive students are working on developing critical thinking, problem-solving, and coding skills through hands-on experiences with technology. To enhance their learning, we need iPads to program and control the robots efficiently, access coding platforms, and collaborate on STEM projects. Your support will help bridge the technology gap, providing our young engineers with the tools they need to innovate, explore, and succeed in the ever-evolving world of robotics.
My classroom seeks funding to purchase three iPads, which will be crucial for coding, flying drones, and connecting wirelessly to our robotics equipment.
The iPads will serve a diverse group of learners, including English language learners, students with disabilities, and gifted students. By using iPads, robots, and drones, we will foster creativity, problem-solving, and coding skills. Your support will help create an inclusive environment where all students, especially young women, gain the confidence to pursue careers in STEM.
The iPads will allow students to collaborate more efficiently by using shared documents, coding platforms, and apps to work together on projects. They will develop communication, leadership, and teamwork skills in both their academic and extracurricular activities. The iPads will provide students with endless opportunities to experiment with different apps and tools to explore creative solutions to challenges, while also supporting their problem-solving abilities in new ways.
