This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I have eight wonderful students who needs love. Many of my students come from homes where they have been abandon from their parents. Therefore, not having their parents in there life arises many problems that have cause them to become emotional disturb. all of my students receive special education under the umbrella of IDEA. Most of the students receive behavior counseling and speech.These students struggle with reading, and math due to having behaviors issues in the classroom. However, as the teacher I have incorporated social skills for these low achievers to build their self esteem. What makes my students specials is that they have made a 100 percent turn around with their behavior in the classroom. Now my goal is to close the gap in their reading.
My Project
The use of iPads will motivate my struggling readers to read. With the use of Ipads being use daily will become a motive for my students to read. These student are reading two to three grade levels below their peers. Having iPads in the classroom will help inspire the growth and eventually close the gap within their reading. The iPads will also be use as an incentive to decrease the behaviors within my Behavior Support class. These students need a lot of motivation and enchanting learning to stay on task and keep interest. These students depend heavenly on the teacher to read everything. With Ipads in the classroom can help alleviate so much dependency from the teacher. Having Ipads can allow the students
