Help me give my students one Apple iPad mini to help complete our iPad station.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Yopp's classroom raised $513
This project is fully funded
My Students
My students come in every day with smiles on their faces and ready to learn. I teach a very diverse group of second graders in a high poverty school. Some of my students come from homes where they have been read to since they were infants, and others come from homes with no books at all. Some come from homes full of food and others are part of our pack-a-snack program that provides food for students on weekends and breaks.
We have a wonderful second grade family, and we work hard every day to help each other make the best choices!
It is my goal to keep my students interested in all aspects of their education, especially reading.
My Project
We are requesting one Apple iPad Mini to help complete our iPad station. This iPad will help us during math stations, reading stations, and blogging. Blogging is something new I plan to add this year in order to get more interest in writing.
Technology will play a huge role in our classroom.
I am looking forward to getting robots and other STEM materials that need iPads to work. These iPads will help us be more creative and even get to practice some coding.
We are so grateful to already have two iPads in the classroom, but three will allow us to have more time on the iPads.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
