Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I would like 7 iPads to use in the classroom during small group instruction. I would have students start learning how to use iPads to do research based projects and use programs that assist them with their reading and math skills. I typically have 26 students, so these iPads would be wonderful to have in order to do 5 rotations on a daily basis. Students need to learn how to use iPads as an instructional tool, not just a tool to watch their favorite YouTubers. We do have Chromebooks, but I also would like them to use iPads because they are user friendly for this age group.
