Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Music and theater is a universal language that is a part of every culture around the world. I teach music and theater at an underprivileged school in New York City. The children would really benefit from incorporating technology into the music program.
iPads offer GarageBand , midi and a film app that would allow the children to create content both musically and theatrically.
There are many STEM jobs in music and theater that I suspect will only increase over time. Please give the children an opportunity that will help them not only learn music, but the importance of STEM in the music and theater world.
