This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are extraordinary and eager to learn new things. They ask lots of why questions. They are very young, and they soak up information like sponges. Technology is the land of information. Although it has some negative influence there is so much positivity we can do with it. My hope is to show students the positive things we can use technology for.
I would like to introduce my students to research connected with our classroom studies.
Some of our studies include gardening, clothes, insects, simple machines, bread, and more. I want them to understand how to find information on their own. This includes being able to listen to the sounds in a word to help spell words and also use voice to text.
I will also use the iPads to create interactive activities for small group and whole group times, also to create individualized one-on-one activities for students who need a extra push, but also those who need an extra challenge.
These iPads will allow for a lot more individualized learning as well as pushing my students to the next level of their learning journey.
